Morgan Collett Software is led by its founder, Morgan Collett, whose background is in security, production infrastructure and messaging systems.

Previous roles

01Former Chief Engineer at Thawte. Thawte's first developer after its founder, building and managing the engineering team behind its PKI systems.
02Security and infrastructure roles at VeriSign, including a year at its Mountain View headquarters integrating the cryptographic back end after the acquisition of Thawte.
03Ten years at Praekelt Consulting, from senior engineer to Head of Technology and then CIO, leading a 27-person engineering and SRE team as the company grew from 13 to 70 people. Work included web and app development for major South African brands and high-traffic national platforms such as Telkom, and SMS, USSD and WhatsApp services.

Open source and education technology
